I was not a loyal viewer last season. In fact out of some of the dizis that came out (and ended last season) I have only seen a few episodes of some of these dizis. I haven’t even seen an episode of Yüzyıllık Mucize, Kraliçe and Barbaros Hayreddin. I have seen some scenes. From what I’ve seen my favorite is Güzel Günler. I think it was a very sweet family dramedy.

EGO was a total disappointment that infuriated me and that’s why I didn’t even watch the finale. Çöp Adam had a good start but then became too crazy for me. Camdaki Kız was interesting and very successful rating wise but too angsty for me. I’m also bothered by mental illness being fetishized for ratings. OGM tends to come out with dizis one after the other which are based on books by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. Because they are mostly about traumas of rich people, they get very good ratings. They also always have a great cast and high production value.

Gelsin Hayat Bildiği Gibi had a solid start but then the writer changed and honestly the 20 something year old kids’ lives wasn’t interesting. Yasak Elma is the type of dizi you can always catch up with but you don’t feel the desire to watch it every week. It is entertaining but a bit dull sometimes. I think Ender and Yıldız are iconic characters that will stay with me.

Bir Küçük Gün Işığı was appealing in the beginning but the drama became intense for me after a while. I’m a big fan of the child actor and she didn’t disappoint. Yürek Çıkmazı was surprisingly interesting and addictive but the villain was too much for me. I’m usually not in the mood for a villain who is so annoying and keeps winning! :)

I had high hopes for Kraliçe but was disappointed when I heard it was a betrayal story. I love Gökhan Alkan and my heart just couldn’t take it to see him in a role as an a**hole. Barbaros Hayreddin is another Ottoman period drama and there are just too many of them around for me to be interested anymore.

Now that they are completed I will definitely check out Yüzyıllık Yalnızlık and the rest of the episodes of Güzel Günler. Maybe I’ll even watch the EGO finale. So from all of these dizis, are there any you were devastated to hear that it was ending? Let me know! And see you tomorrow on day 26! We are nearing the end of the month, I can’t believe it. ❤
